Our Mission
To deliver safe, sustainable, and climate‑resilient aquaculture solutions – from remote island fjords to coastal fish farms and open‑ocean installations.
At floNET X, we build floating fish cages with integrated solar roofs. Each unit measures 12 x 5 x 1.5 meters above water, produces 8–10 kWp of clean energy, and is engineered to withstand hurricanes, hail, and tornadoes. Together, multiple units form self‑sufficient micro farms or multi‑megawatt floating solar‑aquaculture parks.
Economic – Profitable for Farmers
A fish farm that does not make economic sense cannot last. Our floNET X eliminates diesel generators and reduces energy costs by up to 80% over the system’s lifetime. With no grid connection required, farmers in remote locations gain energy independence. Lower operating costs mean healthier margins and faster ROI.
Social – Empowering Coastal Communities
We train local technicians to install, maintain, and repair our floating cages and solar systems – creating skilled, long‑term jobs in the regions we serve. Our modular, field‑serviceable design ensures that farmers are never locked into expensive factory‑only repairs. We work with local boat builders, net makers, and small businesses to strengthen the blue economy.
Environmental – Protecting Marine Life & Cutting Emissions
By replacing diesel‑powered aerators and feeders with solar energy, each floNET X unit avoids approximately 15–20 tonnes of CO₂ per year. Our non‑toxic materials (no heavy metals, no lithium) and durable nets reduce microplastic pollution and prevent chemical leakage. The floating solar roof also provides shade, reducing water temperature stress on fish and lowering algal blooms.
Our Commitment
- Every installation must be economically viable for the fish farmer.
- Every system must reduce or eliminate fossil fuel use at sea.
- Every cage must be storm‑proof, non‑toxic, and fully recyclable at end of life.
- Every community we work with gains local ownership and skills.
